The terrorism occurs on the 100th anniversary of the beginning of operation of the Tokyo Electric Lighting Company (November 29, 1887). Tokyo Electric Lighting Company was the predecessor of the Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO).
South Korea was going to host the 1988 Summer Olympic Games. However, Nagoya in Japan had been defeated by Seoul in South Korea at the IOC conference on September 30, 1981.
The arrested North Korean agent, Kim Hyon-Hui, was born on December 22, 1961 in the Japanese calendar. But her birthday was the 100th anniversary of the First Japanese Embassy to Europe (December 22, 1861 in the Japanese calendar).
On July 20, 2010, she visited Japan. But the Japanese authorities waived strict immigration controls to allow her to meet the relatives of two Japanese citizens snatched by North Korean agents in the late 1970s. Naturally, critics denounced the visit as a stunt designed to deflect attention from Japan's failure to establish the fates of Megumi Yokota and other abductees. Hyon-Hui had already spoken to some of the victims' families and was not expected to offer any new information.
Strangely enough, Megumi Yokota's birthday commemorated the establishment of the Palestine Liberation Organization and the 100th anniversary of the formation of the General Council of the International Workingmen's Association, the predecessor of the international communism. (Timeline)
※
It is highly probable that the plane bombing was Japan's conspiracy to retaliate against South Korea for the next year's Olympic Games.
