1284 - ◆King Sancho IV of Castile is crowned.
King Sancho IV of Castile is probably Japanese.
Hojo Tokimune dies on April 20, 1284. He is the young regent to the shogun (military dictator of Japan). He is regarded as the samurai hero, who led the battle against the Mongol invasions.
But the day is April 4 in the Japanese calendar and is the same day with the coronation of King Sancho IV of Castile.
-
1792 - ★Haitian Revolution.
The decree of April 4, 1792 grants political equality to emancipated slaves.
-
1868 - ◆The Gakushuin Peers School is reopened.
At the end of the 7th century, the Daigaku-ryo, or the Imperial university of Japan, was founded. However, it was destroyed by fire on May 27, 1177, and it was not rebuilt.
On April 23, 1847, Emperor Komei re-establised the Gakushuin, but later it was closed due to the confusion during the Meiji Restoration.
On April 4, 1868, the Meiji government reopened the Gakushuin, but later it was closed again.
On October 17, 1877, the Gakushuin was opened in Tokyo. In 1947, it was closed and was reopened as a privated school.
-
1872 - ★The Japanese Ministry of the Military is abolished.
The Ministry of War and Ministry of the Navy are created the next day.
-
1875 - ★Kimuraya's founder Yasubei Kimura dedicates buns to the Japanese Emperor.
It is thought to have been a parody in which the Haitian Revolution was insinuated. Black colored bean indicated black slaves and the yellow colored bun indicated Mulattos, people of mixed black and white ancestry.
-
1879 - ★The Ryukyu Clan is abolished and Okinawa is born.
The day is March 13 in the Japanese calendar and is the 11th anniversary of the Edict for Separation of Shinto and Buddhism (March 13, 1868 in the Japanese calendar).
※
The origin of the name of Okinawa prefecture is inexplicable like the origin of the name of Kagoshima prefecture. I believe that the Tokyo government malevolently gave the island the name of "Okinawa". Okinawa is pronounced like "Ookina Wa". And "Okina Wa" means exactly "Yamato" or the "Japanese Imperial Dynasty".
To ridicule others behind their back manipulating puns and double meanings is one of the outstanding evil propensity of the Japanese imperial clan.
-
1952 - ★(birth) Bronis?aw Komorowski, President of Poland.
-
1960 - ★Senegal independence day.
-
1968 - ◆Martin Luther King, Jr. is assassinated.
He is killed by James Earl Ray at a motel in Memphis, Tennessee.
※
Like other conspiracies, it is highly probable that this assassination was Japan's conspiracy. To tell the truth, the day was the 100th anniversary of the reopening of the Gakushuin Peers School in Japan (April 4, 1868).
In addition, Ray was Japanese. He was born on the Japanese Army Day and he died on the Japanese Navy Day.
-
1968 - ◆Apollo program: NASA launches Apollo 6.
-
1973 ? ☆The World Trade Center in New York is officially dedicated.
-
1973 - ☆The Japanese Supreme Court makes a dicision which overrides an exisiting law.
I think it is a ridiculous decision. If the court has the power to ignore the existing law, the legislative body loses its raison d'etre. I don't think that the decision was made on the same day of the official dedication of the World Trade Center by chance. The decision symbolized Japan's determination to ignore existing laws.
-
1983 ? ☆Space Shuttle Challenger makes its maiden voyage into space (STS-6).
-
1983 - ☆A Japanese serialized morning television drama, Oshin, starts.
As of today, Oshin has been aired in 59 countries, with subtitles ranging from English to Arabic.
