The day is genpuku 14th birthday of Shinjiro Koizumi (April 14, 1981). They are distant relatives. And Ishihara is older, more popular and more experienced than Koizumi. Ishihara becomes the Tokyo governor in 1999. Koizumi's father becomes prime minister in 2001. However, the event above critically indicates that Shinjiro Koizumi is of nobler ancestry than Ishihara, probably thanks to his mother.
